Ringer Board Score
A Ringer Board Score will document your best round which is composed of the very best score you've ever shot on each hole at MGC course on a Thursday Play Day during a single season.
A player must choose which tees they will compete for the year. All members should indicate with a "R" or a "G" in the designated column when entering their first score of the year.
At the end of the season the Ringer Scores will be flighted according to everyone's final handicap, either Red or Green dependent upon the member's choice. Prizes will be awarded to the players who have the lowest 18-hole Ringer Board Scores.
The Ringer Board will begin on the last week in February and will end the last Thursday in October. On the first week that a player plays she should enter her gross score for all 18-holes. The player will find her name (listed alphabetically) on the spreadsheet and she should enter her scores Only on that row. On future Thursday Play Days only improved scores should be entered on the Ringer Board Sheet. You may not need to make any changes on your row if you did not have any better scores.
Par on the first hole is a "5" and you have (at one time or another during that season) shot at least one birdie on that hole, then your improved Ringer Board Score for hole 1 is a "4". Keep entering your improved hole-by-hole score every time you play as applicable on Thursday Play Days until the season is complete. Just remember to only enter improved scores.
